The SHR (S150HR) is a miniature low-cost device featuring the best resolution and precision of wavelength detection among all compact devices available at the market.
The optical scheme of the SHR is based on the Eschelle diffraction grating operating in high spectrum orders (*). A linear multi-element image sensor is used to record light emission. The SHR does not contain any movable elements; powering and control are performed from a computer via Full-Speed USB2.0 interface. Analyzed light emission is input to the device through an optical fiber fitted with an attenuator.
APPLICATIONS
The SHR spectrometer is an ideal instrument for measuring laser wavelength in laser spectroscopy, laser isotope separation, as well as in the process of adjustment, alignment and testing of laser systems.
The SHR allows quick and easy measuring of absolute wavelength value of both CW and pulsed laser sources with outstanding precision of ± 3 pm within a widest spectral range of 190-1200 nm, as well as detecting FWHM of the analyzed line with 3*104 (λ/Δλ<FWHM) resolution which constitutes from 6 pm for the UV spectrum range to 40 pm for the IR. The SHR also ensures on-line monitoring of the above values in course of tuning the analyzed wavelength.
The SHR is indispensable for wavelength control and analyzing shape of spectral lines at the output of diode lasers and tunable laser systems – solid-state lasers, dye lasers and optical parametrical oscillators.
The SHR spectrometer is not an analyzer of populated spectra, however, it can be applied in analysis of narrow spectral intervals within the spectral width of the Eschelle order – from 0,5 nm in the UV spectrum range (190 nm) to 18 nm in the IR (1200 nm), preliminarily separated with a filter or any other spectral device (1).
