Ruby laser beam is an optimal choice for treatment of pigmented lesion originating in melanin. The reason is that ruby laser beam undergoes minimal absorption in collagen and so it influences melanin selectively leaving all other tissues intact.

• In order to preserve high lasing efficiency, conventional ruby lasers operate at the temperature of laser head not higher than 20°C. At this temperature there is a great risk of moisture condensation on optical parts which can lead to their damage. This fundamental drawback of ruby lasers is completely eliminated in the R15 Model. Unique design features of the laser allow to provide highefficient laser output at laser head temperature of about 30°C. As a result, R15 shows the highest reliability and powerful output from a compact unit.
